Power and Performance

Powered by a Komatsu SAA4D95LE-6 Tier 4 Final certified engine, featuring an integrated Komatsu Diesel Oxidation Catalyst and Komatsu Variable Flow Turbocharger, No Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) nor Selective Catalytic Reduction system (SCR) is needed.

A reduced cooled exhaust gas recirculation rate and advanced engine timing improve combustion efficiency and engine response.

Up to 3% increased productivity.

Up to 5% fuel savings.

10 more horsepower.

Compact Tight Tail Design

The PC78US-10 short tail swing is well suited for crowded spaces.

The offset boom allows for work in tight areas.

A rounded cab design allows the cab to swing within the same swing radius as the counterweight, further enhancing the machine performance in tight working conditions.

A new convenient rearview monitoring system comes standard.

Operator Comfort

The LCD color monitor panel has an updated screen that combines a rear view camera display together with key gauges and information.

The monitor also incorporates the Operator Identification System as well as Auto-idle shutdown capabilities as standard.

Attachment control stores up to 10 work tools and the machine can run attachments while operating in Economy mode to save fuel.

Simple and Convenient Maintenance

Komatsu has opened up the rear left side of the machine to allow even better access to key service items.

Fuel pre-filter with water separator and new high efficiency dual element fuel filters provide improved filtration efficiency.

KOMTRAX level 5 system provides GPS location, fuel, hours and vehicle performance information wirelessly to www.komtrax.us to aid in better machine management. The Komatsu Advanced Diagnostic system does not require a laptop or additional software to use.

Maintenance intervals are monitored and stored in the large monitor panel.

Highly Adaptable

Standard auxiliary piping for attachments is included.

All major components are designed and manufactured by Komatsu which allows the engine and hydraulic systems to be optimized to maximize efficiency.

6 working modes are available to precisely match the application.

A standard pattern change valve changes from ISO to backhoe controls to match the operator preference.

A standard 7’7” blade provides added versatility.
